Arvind Bhargava

Founder and CEO

Arvind's journey in the tech industry began in 1983 as an ECL chip designer at Amdahl Corporation, a renowned mainframe computer designer and manufacturer. During his six-year tenure, he contributed to the development of the 5870 Mainframe. In 1988, Arvind transitioned to Super Mini Computers at Elxsi Corp, where he focused on designing boards using off-the-shelf chips. Recognizing a significant opportunity in the PC market, Arvind founded ASA Computers in 1989 with focus as a PC manufacturer, exporting thousands of units globally. However, Arvind soon pivoted ASA Computers to specialize in x86 server, made history by introducing the first Intel-based BSDI Server and was the pioneering partner of Red Hat Inc. In 2010, Arvind partnered with Chris Terry, formerly from Rackable Systems, to establish Racklive, a data center division of ASA Computers.

Arvind holds both a BSEE and MSEE from Purdue University. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys coding and fostering business incubation initiatives in his spare time.
